Miraisens, a leading provider of haptics solutions, announced it would exhibit and demonstrate the latest real-time haptics design tool and middleware solution, AMPTIX™ for Games, at the Game Developer Conference (GDC) 2023.
AMPTIX™ for Games is a standalone tool solution that allows game developers to create haptics data, design the back-and-forth movement of haptic feedback by simply drawing lines on the GUI, and create an array of tactile feedback by controlling just three parameters. It delivers better haptics with a simpler workflow and in far less iteration time.
Now, we are proud to announce to support industry-standard game audio engines such as CRI ADX™ by CRI Middleware Co, ltd. and Wwise® by Autokinetic, Inc., among others providing game developers with a comprehensive approach to creating haptic sensations that improve the overall game experience.
By adding game audio engine support to AMPTIX™, developers can seamlessly integrate the haptics authoring tool into their existing audio pipeline without making any changes and streamlining the development process. It adds AMPTIX™ proprietary features and enables developers to focus more on creating immersive gameplay experiences.
For those interested in learning more about AMPTIX™, Miraisens invites attendees at this week's Game Developer Conference (GDC) 2023 in San Francisco to visit the booth (S1329).
The AMPTIX™ release demonstrates Miraisens' continued commitment to innovation in the haptics industry. Publishers, developers, and sound designers looking to create richer haptic sensations in their games can leverage AMPTIX™ for Games to achieve their desired outcomes.
